As a coach, he is on the road worldwide, and among his students are numerous championship winners and successful riders. Elmar Pollmann-Schweckhorst has also made a name for himself as an author and lecturer with the book "Springpferde-Ausbildung heute", other books and specialized articles.
His Training Philosophy
The equine master and professional riding instructor attaches particular importance to the partnership and relationship with the horse. "Horses are as different as humans. Each one has its own character, its own temperament, and its own physical disposition". Elmar Pollmann-Schweckhorst has made it his mission to respond individually to these peculiarities and with the help of his many years of experience to promote jumpers and their riders in the best possible way.
During training, he believes that the horse should be challenged but not overworked, either physically or mentally. "To awaken a horse's willingness to perform and to develop its full potential is one of the greatest challenges and at the same time one of the most rewarding tasks in the training of horses".
